One of the longest projects I've done to date!! <3 <3 <3 Thank you all so much for the support, as well as all the comments and tags! I love going through them and reading all the lovely messages. They're a great pick-me-up whenever I'm feeling demotivated. So thank you again <3

So for the anniversary I wanted to do a little thing where I point out some details in the comic I'm very proud of XD (Yes I'm tooting my own horn - shhh)

Three Wishes Dream asks Techno to promise him something 3 times. And only on the third one does Techno agree. I tried to frame it as both Techno being cautious about agreeing to things Dream proposes (a la favor) but also as Techno finally agreeing when everything was laid out and there was nothing Dream had left to hide. (It's like a fairytale trial - 3 challenges with the last having a great reward.) Forget-me-(k)not I don't know how prevalent they are now a days, but growing up I was a really forgetful child, and learned somewhere that by tying a knot on your finger when you need to remember something supposedly helps in you actually remembering. Which idk if true, it didn't really work on me, but the knot itself actually stuck, so in this case I used it for 3 things: A reminder that Dream was stuck in prison and needed help, a reminder that Phil needed to get Techno out of prison (eventually), and a reminder that Techno promised Dream he would free him. Scars So all the scars that I drew Dream with all actually have canonical reasons. So in order - the one across his nose was from Techno during their duel, the ones on his neck and chest were from Tommy taking two canon lives, the one on his lips were from Sam after first being detained, and the last on his chin (and arms) are from Quackity. Continuity The armor that Phil is wearing at the end is a reference to another illustration I did of the Doomsday Trio. It's post prison break so maybe it's a sequel? (This is less a detail and more just a personal thing - but my favorite page has to be page 7 - where Dream's image crumbles. It usually takes me at least 2 tries to get the look I want - this was one and done ^^) More behind the scenes - this comic (final version) started with the hug. I said initially the comic was supposed to be 6 pages at most, but I wanted to make the hug work so bad that I literally rewrote the comic. Only the first two pages are part of the original draft. Everything else was new. My brother literally sat with me for days going over each scene and making edits. OTL There were so many iterations - in the end I think there are at least 7 drafts of this comic. Cut Content Bonus: Unlike my other comic where the vision was there from the beginning, Little Comforts had some growing pains, and a few scenes had to be cut for it to work. So here ya go!

This was cut in favor of the shaking scene, some levity was needed to let the scene breathe, plus quoting my brother "It's more Techno".

Also wanted another hug, but editor and I felt that it took away from the pay off in the end.

Alternate version of 'he's a child' - originally it was supposed to go at the end of the comic, as an epilogue. Timing wise it ended up not working, which ended up with an even better gut punch so I'm not too upset. I may still render this....

It's now a normal greeting for them for Cassian to barrel into Tamlin and tussle with him; Tamlin loves it because it's the relationship he never had with his brothers

Cassian is THE shorter older brother, he's at least 30 years older than Tamlin, but Tamlin is 6'5"+ and Cassian is built like a BAKED BEAN

Tamlin is definitely the more introverted one because he's insecure, but Cassian will double down on ANYTHING Tamlin says or wants. OH UR VEGETARIAN BRO??? BEANS ARE THE SHIT AND GRASS TOO

Cassian doesn't know what exactly vegetarians eat except grass and beans, he tried once and cried he did not like whatever the hell a 'bean patty' is

Having a friend outside of the Night Court is a really fascinating experience to Cassian because even though they both had different upbringings, they have similar... vibes? Tamlin is quiet and curious, Cassian and loud and will put his hands/mouth on anything to figure out what the hell this new thing is. They both had 2 brothers with a MEH dad, warrior training, they punch first and ask questions later, it's just really cool to connect with someone on that level

It's also nice for Cassian to be able to chill w/ someone else and get an outside POV when he's going through something w/ his brothers

Cassian 10000% percent vibes with Tamlin's let's just fuck off and live in nature, it's very peaceful

Tamlin's great great great great great grandmother is a willow tree who has the hots for Cassian, lots of shh shhh and stroking his face with her vines when he's being so dumb

Cassian is seemingly more hot-headed than Tamlin, but Tamlin is the one with rage issues; it actually helps Tamlin a lot to have a friend who will BLURT OUT the first thing that comes to mind especially when confronted with something shitty like 'YO DUDE THAT'S A FUCKED UP THING TO SAY' and 'OK U WANNA GO?? MET ME IN THE PRYTHIAN PARKING LOT 1V1 ME'

Cassian's bluntness also helps drag Tamlin out of depressive slumps. Trauma can really re-wire someone's brain and make you act out, but Cassian also turns his loud honesty on Tamlin like 'FIRST DON'T TALK ABOUT MY BEST FRIEND LIKE THAT' and 'YOU'RE BEING A DICK is this how you feel or is this a reaction my broski' -- his heavy hand is an excellent contrast to Tamlin's other best friend LUCIEN

The humour shared between Tamlin and Cassian makes zero sense to anyone. At all. They will die laughing at a bag of 70% cacao and Cassian will over the 'o' and they've been laughing at 'caca' for the last 10 minutes. It's very freeing for them.

Tamlin loves fruit, Cassian general does not eat fruit or vegetables. Tamlin introduced Cassian to a giant fruit bat and lied to say 'he's very disappointed u don't eat ur greens' and CASSIAN TOOK THAT PERSONALLY??? he eats mangoes now and other tropical fruits to honour his batcestors bat-ancestors???

IF we transpose this friendship that started in the canon 'Tamlin trained with the Illyrians in the war' to TODAY, Cassian never recovered from the falling out between Rhysand and Tamlin. It's really difficult for him to reconcile what happened to HIS family with his friend he knew, loved and trusted. When Rhysand vanished, his first instinct would have been to go see Tamlin for help (but there's a lot of guilt for not checking on him either since Cassian knew Tamlin didn't have.... a support system like him).

In Modern AU, Cassian and Tamlin have DEFINITELY those ugly shirts wit each other's face on them and their names in ✨GLITTER✨

in the end, you accepted and they couldn’t be any more relieved yet also happy!! they treat you more amazing than anyone ever could, bonus points if MARI teases you both a lot about how the two of you are super cute.

they couldn’t really hide anything from the young ones in the friend group, so you three decide to just tell them the truth. they were.. confused, mostly KEL and SUNNY, but decided to support you three nonetheless and even promised not to tell your guy’s parents

anon, i completely agree with you!! this happens to me all the time and it's so frustrating, i have gone like months without being ticklish and as someone whose relationship is so full of tickling, it was genuinely a hard time for me. i'm sorry this happens to you as well, but know you aren't alone!! here are some characters that i think probably have the ability to "turn-off" being ticklish, whether they would see it as a blessing or not (also, if i've ever headcanoned these characters as super ticklish, shhh that never happened, there are two wolves inside me)

aaron hotchner, derek morgan, and emily prentiss (criminal minds) - i think that just...being trained to endure the physical and mental toll of their job, specifically these 3 members of the b.a.u. have the ability to just...shut things out, physically. i think each of their unique traumas and backstories can support the idea and i could be more detailed about this in the future if anyone cares, lol.

ash lynx (banana fish) - it's very clear in canon that ash is very familiar with the concept of just...completely dissociating from your body as a coping mechanism, and i think tickling is something that blends with other unwanted touch. i think that if he is around someone he feels safe and comfortable with (cough eiji cough) he would be capable of letting his guard down, but it's mostly just instinct.

astarion (baldur's gate 3) - this man has learned to use his body as a weapon, and having physical weaknesses just doesn't mesh well with that. no one really ever...tried, not in hundreds of years, but when people touch him, it feels numb, detached, rehearsed. just like how he canonically doesn't know how to accept hugs, i think he would be so surprised if someone tried to tickle him, he'd just go rigid.

finnick odair, katniss everdeen, johanna mason, peeta mellark (the hunger games) - i think you could make this argument for any survivor of the games, because...they are all so traumatized, i can't imagine that they experience physical sensation the same was as other people, after all of the pain and discomfort they've been put through, the injuries they've sustained. realistically, i think all of them would either be completely not ticklish, or their instinct when tickled would be to freak out.

inej ghafa and kaz brekker (six of crows) - this one hurts to admit and i will never stop writing about them both being ticklish, but...let's be real here. both of them are so traumatized when it comes to the specific concept of physical touch, kaz literally has a phobia of skin-to-skin contanct, if you tried to tickle him, i think he would probably throw up and then murder you. inej shuts down at unwanted touch, she "disappears" as i believe she calls it in the books (aka dissociates) and i think that it would take a lot of trust and healing for either of them to even realize they were ticklish let alone allow it to happen.

levi ackerman (attack on titan) - this man has literally suffered so many injuries, i have to imagine his nervous system is just completely shot. i will still write about him being super ticklish, because it's my party and i'll do what i want to, but like...let's be real. i can't imagine him even reacting to a minor injury, like he's bleeding profusely and everyone is like "omg captain are you ok!?!?!" and he didn't even notice he was hurt and just starts stitching it up. like, he doesn't feel things. it would take a loooot to get him to relax enough to react to tickling, i think, lol. probably liquor.

For this AU, since I did mention this being a Modern AU, it's not related to canon at all. So no monsters fucking around, no Aku fucking around, no time travel to the future bullshit, we are giving Jack the rest that he deserves lol so just think of this AU like me just putting Jack in a slice of life situation. I don't want to think of anything heavy plot wise because I am not a very creative person and I can't handle too much angst, I want him to be happy. As usual, I don't think of this through, my rough idea is that Jack is an immigrant that moves to another country just to support his family back home but also I have another idea that Jack is actually stinking rich because of his family but he lives frugally and he loves having a simple job and life where he lives comfortably just like regular people. Another dumbfuck idea of mine is that he is actually the son of the owner of the company that Chev works for and he got placed in the overseas branch and work as a low level staff for 2 years to gain experience and trust from his dad and he has to keep a low profile in the company so people didn't find out about it and use him. Again, idk I haven't think of a permanent idea hhh Jack has always been mysterious to people so his background will remain an open idea for now hsksjslqkalql (but i really love the son of the owner idea cough cough)

Another mystery here would be Jack's last name. Idk his last name and even in canon we dk his last name and I actually think that's fun? I wanted to make Jack look like a mysterious person to Chev because he rarely disclose anything about his background and that includes his actual last name so it's nice that I can omit his last name here.

As I stated before, they are not dating. I honestly still can't see them dating yet BUT I do see them having a mutual feelings towards each other and I also see them being in a "friends with benefit" situation but minus the sleeping around? Idk I haven't decide thoroughly on this either but I imagine that they do cuddle occassionally (cuddle buddy? Is that a thing? Idk) but never more than that, they both liked each other but both seems to either try to restrain their feelings or keep it a secret while still act like they are besties lol. Perhaps one day I will think of how they would eventually date or when I feel comfortable enough to change the status to romantic f/o lol

With that being said, since they are technically close friends, Jack occasionally do sleep over at Chev's apartment so that's the closest thing either both of them experience living with domesticity. Jack leaves some of his items there including his pjs and personal hygiene stuff like razors and toothbrush since he sleeps there almost every weekend if Chev's not busy. He also does his laundry at her apartment since he has no washing machine in his own apartment and Chev did tell him to visit her whenever he wants to clean his clothes. Both of them also don't go out often since Chev prefers staying at home and rest during the weekends but on occassion they do go out and go cafe hopping around town trying to look for the best bagel and sushi that doesn't cost them 3 easy payments of $195.95 + your first born

Jack also seems to be an ambivert to me. He can be complacent with silence and company all by himself and he can also sit down talking excitedly with a stranger he just met because they wear the same shirt at the bar. Chev in the other hand is suprisingly reclusive. She actually doesn't really enjoy small talks and prefers being left alone to her own thought. She also actually have a hard time befriending people due to how she seems to look offhandish most of the time when in reality she is just tired and she also unfortunately has the curse of RBF hhhh she still thinks it funny that she ended up befriending Jack since how the polar opposite they can be personality-wise.

I already mentioned this before but in case people missed it (and I sure ppl do hhh) Chev is an old OC that I revived because I'm too lazy to create a new one so I still keep some of her old personality and mannerism and that also includes her sexuality. She likes women and men and have dated 2 girls previously. She always leans on women though so when she starts to catch feelings on Jack she feels a bit conflicted and I imagine that she always denies her feelings towards him to the point she tries to avoid him at one point which kinda hurt him and hhh I think thats the conflict I want to put in their relationship lol

I actually don't want to write Jack's sexuality initially because he probably doesn't know it or care about it and then it clicked on me: He doesn't care about preferences at all, he loves everyone hdjdjskskal no no listen shhhh he always seem to be open minded to me and I can see that he also doesn't really care or mind about who he's attracted to. If he happens to like the cute receptionist guy at the counter so be it, he is going to like him. If he likes the florist he greets and passes by everyday to work he is going to like them, he really didn't care about anyone's gender, he sees everyone as equal to him just like in canon when he encounters various creatures and species and he sees them all as people he needs to help.

Most of the ideas for this AU is still in progress and I change the story a lot unlike my headcanons for Chloe and Utonium so I hope you guys would bare with me and my indecisiveness 🥲 I also hope you guys would like this ship too because I know they are pretty boring compare to others because I am not as creative as other people but it means a lot to me of people like them 🤧🤧🥲🥲🥲💕💕💕

pagan min as a dragon.............this idea has been in my head for so long i’ve got like prototype pagan dragons and shit but this is my final design for him

okay so. i’m going to explain his entire design since it makes me happy and i’m going to start with the colors

obviously he’s super flashy and extravagant in canon so i couldn’t just Not let that cross over here. i tried to make him look like a living rainbow without actually making him a rainbow BUT i do have my reasons for each of the colors.

the golden orange-y and yellow parts are obviously, well, to represent gold and the fact that he is ummmmmmm Technically royalty despite stealing the throne? the combination of blue on gold is relative to the golden path and how he and ishwari were a thing yada yada . red is for the primary color his army wears and for lakshmana because her whole shrine is decked out in the color red and pink is for his lovely suit:)

...i couldn’t make it that vibrant pink his suit actually is or it wouldn’t have fit as well into the rest of the colors. also. all the colors are taken off the rakshasa pagan thingy but i gave them meaning to make it fancier ++++ it wasn’t my intention but the way his colors fade into each other reminds me of all the colorful ?dust (i don’t know what it is. is it just powder) in far cry 4 so that makes me happy

speaking of rakshasa pagan, the other parts of his design are very much based off of it. specifically, the bird one in shangri-la. i included the way pagan’s rakshasa face looks as best as i could but the rest of the little intricate details i all sponged off of the bird, like the armor and the crown and the huge talons. the crown i felt especially needed to be included if nothing else bc well. y’know LMAO

the vaguely peacock-looking feathers are because that seems to be his motif for himself and his army and kyrat or whatever tf i don’t really know. all i know is i see peacocks associated with him and BAM he gets some pretty feathers

p.s. ik the pose is weird in that image let’s all hold hands and pretend that he’s climbing down from something

okay bear with me . the wing size might be inconsistent but shhh don’t look at that it isn’t there also thanks to tumblr for maybe tanking the quality of these (we’ll see) . ANYWAY

he gets multiple limbs because of the golden statues (or statue singular? is there just one? i haven’t played it but god i want to) that are in his dlc and it gives me another reason to stretch the definition of “dragon” which is always super fun for me :)

his face is mostly immobile aside from being able to blink and breathe and close/open his mouth but it’s like his jaw is on hinges with the way it can only move up and down (and stiffly) because i want it to really feel like he’s got a mask on or something. like if you look at the rakshasa bird its face isn’t all that. mobile. it is made of some kind of metal i think and i tried to mimic that effect + the idea of his mask in the dlc

another p.s.! let’s all keep holding hands and pretending . this time he’s landing after flying. he doesn’t normally stand on two feet

his wings are heavy to the point that his front legs can’t really support him properly sometimes even though he’s got two pairs, so he often uses his wings as support to walk like how wyverns do. he feels like it’s inconvenient because he doesn’t want to get his feathers dirty and without a beak/easy way to close his mouth it’s annoying for him to preen them but that’s just an L he has to take

and this is just him flying 4 literally no reason. i struggle drawing animals/beings that have wings in flight (and also i struggle with the tucked-in legs that come with those) so i wanted to see if i could. i think it turned out okay? maybe

i hope this made sense and that i wasn’t totally incoherent about this! thank you for reading (if you did) (and perhaps expect more dragons... i’m a big fan of them lol)

so aside from Sytke Ardus, I have created MANY RWBY OC's over the years that I don't talk about much often outside of Discord. Figured I'd just do a masterpost of them and talk about them all here. And yeah ALL of them are Faunus... don't judge

Anyway, all character bios under the cut. From left to right, top to bottom

Faolan Ossory and Aetos Dios: a wolf Faunus and an eagle Faunus respectively, and Sytke's two other friends. The two of them, Sytke, and Ilia form team SAIF (pronounced "safe", as it's named after the star Saiph on the constellaion Orion). Two Faunus orphans that have supported each other's backs all their lives living as partners in Menagerie. Faolan is the more socially awkward and airheaded of the duo, while Aetos is cautious, paranoid, and not much of a risk taker. Faolan is based on the Irish werewolves of Ossory (his semblance called “Wolfwalker” is the ability to take on the ghostly form of a wolf whenever he's knocked unconscious), and Aetos is named after + based on Zeus' eagle in Greek mythology

Magenta Rogue and Caliber Pantera- actually RWBY versions of my Hazbin/Helluva OC's Raiya and Colt. A romantic spotted hyena and jaguar couple, and former White Fang members. However they worked for Adam moreso out of necessity and survival than a desire for revenge (though that WAS still part of their main goal at the time). Ever since they abandoned the Fang they've struggled to get by until they found a decent home with new friends in Menagerie (yeah I guess this type of RWBY OC is kind of cliche but whatever, was the best thing I could think of for them)

Bruce Thlayli- inspired by Bigwig/Thlayli from the book Watership Down, a rabbit Faunus (his animal trait is his front teeth) who also once worked for Adam as one of his high-ranking second in commands. Unlike Magenta and Caliber, Bruce voluntarily and actively supported Adam until he gradually became more and more disgusted of his leader’s homicidal actions. His rough falling out with Adam led him to have an often harsh and aggressive, but often well-meaning demeanor. He currently still works with the White Fang, but the reformed version under Ghira's new leadership. He now serves as a drill sergeant for a new and improved White Fang military division for both Huntsmen and non-Huntsmen alike.

Busa Simba, Alma Catori, Silver Fujiwara, and Cincy Sandleford- an all-Faunus team from Vacuo that form Team BASC. They're all really just an excuse for me to have RWBY OC's based on my favorite animal xenofiction, full info about them can be found on my Google Doc here

Faye Ruzizi-Gustafson, Wilkins Savo, Kuro Kuma, Champa Corbett, and Val Savo- ok last group of OC's that have some relevance to the White Fang I swear. A lot of their story is centered around my canon-divergent AU involving Sytke which I've talked about before in different posts, but basically they're a cult of Adam-worshipping Faunus called the Red Fang (edgy as that sounds) that want to honor Adam's legacy and bring back his old homicidal ways, and serve as a main source of conflict for Team SAIF in my AU. They are all themed after irl animal serial killers known for attacking humans. Faye is based on Gustave the crocodile, Wilkins and Val are brothers based on the man-eating lions of Tsavo, Kuro Kuma (the leader) is based on Kesagake the Sankebetsu brown bear, and Champa is based on the Champawat Tigress.

Florence Cuta- basically a secondary RWBYsona for myself (first one being my goat Faunus girl Lara Ziege). She's a vicious spotted hyena Faunus who works at a shady bar in Mistral that's actually a hideout spot for underground criminal operations. And she thinks Cinder and Tyrian are very attractive, definitely not a self projection in any way shhh

I think I saw fanart,really good ones too,of Kokushibou as Nezuko and Yoriichi as Tanjiro somewhere,that could be used as inspiration,I am sure.

But since Yoriichi has been through enough in my very biased opinion I'll go like this!

So that last interaction between Yoriichi and Kokushibou was their final moments too.

Let's go with Yoriichi blitzed Kokushibou and one shot him out of misguided guilt or because he wanted his brother to find peace or whatever.

Like I don't think that screws with the canon that hard,like Muzan will find a new Upper Moon who cares.

So they both died leaning on each other and as Yoriichi is older and human he dies faster and falls on Kokushibou disgusting him in process because Kokushibou gotta Kokushibou,until the little flute falls out and Kokushibou spots it.

And then it's tears and guilt fiesta and lamenting and feeling sorry for oneself as Kokushibou ought to do.

And finally Michikatsu is back.

And promises to do better,to protect Yoriichi in their next life,to be a better brother. Because here Yoriichi went against himself and his own vow of not wanting violence to fulfill his duty,like the shock and sadness probably killed him here.

Realistically Kokushibou would still be mad but shhh we need that guy to have some redeeming qualities.

Michikatsu dies clutching the flute and Yoriichi's hand.

Yoriichi dies crying and clutching his brother's hand.

Upper Moon 1 is no more.

Hopefully his clothes stayed with Yoriichi's corpse and someone found them and buried them because anon the fact that we don't know what happened to Yoriichi's body after he died haunts me?Okay?Haunts me!

We know what happened to Uta,but Yoriichi?Nada!

Gotoge I need to talk!

Was he even buried?Did Kokushibou eat him?Did he bury him?Was he just left there to rot? Kokushibou was obsessed with what he left behind and made sure along with Muzan that Yoriichi basically got erased,did he just use some blood art fuckery to erase him? Hopefully someone buried my guy.

I got sidetracked.

But yeah in this au maybe Yoriichi gets buried with his brother's kimono and the flute.Hopefully by either a Hashira or one of the countless people he saved.

God forbid the Kamado's or Sumire somehow find him.

I am a big supporter of that amazing idea that Yoriichi got banged by the Kamado's like a screen door during a hurricane.

I mean Tanjiro bears such a resemblance for a reason yes?

Of course it could have been gods being cruel enough to reincarnate Yoriichi into Tanjiro or just basically curse Tanjiro with Yoriichi's life.

Seriously what if the reason we didn't see Yoriichi waiting for Kokushibou like every other demon got is that he is physically there as Tanjiro and therefore unable to be there?

Now that I think about if this crazy idea has any merit than Yoriichi got what he wished for and by the people he saw as family too through Tanjiro!A simple life with a family that lives him but Muzan still fucking exists!

That whole the people you help,help you back thing really is applicable here!

It's either that or Sumire,Suyako and Sumiyoshi all sat on Yoriichi and he is weak for them so..Only explantation I am allowing.

That or Kokushibou deserved eternal damnation but damn you can't tell me Yoriichi wouldn't have fought god himself to give that fucker a hug.

Again side tracked.

So some years pass and Yoriichi and Michikatsu get reborn again as twins because irony.

Now you can choose who's older and what families they have,do they have more siblings etc.

I personally would have put Michikatsu as a older brother to,you know,repent?

But it works even if Yoriichi is older because Michikatsu would have a brother complex anyway.Man just built too old Japanese.

So Yoriichi hopefully gets a clean slate because trauma and also give him some peace damn.

But Michi probably has some complex and self worth issues because he constantly thinks he isn't enough.

Maybe he remembers a la Tanjiro,thru dreams and random phantoms getting him down a peg or twelve.

Their names could be completely made up,the same,they could be descendants a la Muichiro and Yuichiro,could be Kamado's,whatever you want works.

You have extra guilt points if they belong to Tokito's or Kamado's with Michikatsu's jealousy about Kamado's obvious if he remembers.

Anyway they went to town or stayed home or whatever vague reason you could give so these two can meet Muzan.

And considering Muzan is a crackhead really anything works.

But whatever they are just walking or sleeping or minding their damn business when they see Satan.

Muzan obviously shits himself out of anger and fear both because Kokushibou and Yoriichi are both standing there.

So he grabs Yoriichi.

Instead of killing him which would be the smart choice,he turns him into a demon obviously.

Because Muzan is nothing if not pathetic,dramatic and ineffective.

Thing he panicked hard and was going to grab Michi first but instead in blind feral panic got Yoriichi, because like the ultimate asshole he was,he was about to recreate Kokushibou and have him kill Yoriichi because Muzan sucks like that.

And so gave him a huge amount of blood and panicked and gave him more when he noticed it Yoriichi hoping he would just explode or something.

But nah gods aren't done laughing at all of us so Yoriichi does turn and jeez he is pissed,that fucker tried eating his brother.

Meanwhile Michi is horrified because what the fuck or frozen if he remembers anything at this point.

So you just have demon Yoriichi and Muzan shitting himself and duking out and Yoriichi fucked him up but no nichirin blade so they have to wait until the sun.

A Hashira runs in to a most horrifying and baffling scene ever.

The progenitor of all demons is getting his ass whopped by what looks like a twelve years old juiced on demon blood and his brother is there holding a random object as a weapon.

There is gore and viscera on the floor everywhere.Muzan eventually throws in the towel and blasts off,leaving because Hashira or the sun is up or something.

A very pissed off Yoriichi and shaken Michi and a baffled Hashira stand there until Yoriichi notices the Hashira and starts attacking.

Michi finally get his shit together and jams the flute into Yoriichi's mouth and like fuck is Yoriichi running that precious gift so he calms.

Hashira tells them to get the fuck out off the sun because demons burn in it,but nah it's been the morning for a few hours now and Yoriichi just swinging his legs on the porch completely fine.

Because his existence is meant to fuck with Muzan,and yeah he conquered the sun immediately.

Now the Hashira has the daunting task of explaining all this bullshit to the others and Oyakata-sam somewhat coherently.

Bonus points if the Hashira is either Muichiro or Rengoku for double gut punch.

Now Michikatsu gets to be a slayer,a poor main character and hopefully a better brother with Yoriichi as his overpowered cute sidekick.

Chaos abounds!

Now for the short points:

Yorii is on demon time all the time and instead of people the sun powers him so he is yet again the boogeyman to all the demon and a personally insult to Muzan because fuck that guy.

Yorii is straight up feral,he bites,kicks,growls if you look at him or his brother wrong and his blood demon art thing is probably some unholy mix of sun breathing and demon magic bullshit,like he kicks you and now that part is permanently sun burned,so he is lethal to fight against and as fast as the actual sun.

Yorii adores kids and babies especially, everyone is too afraid to ask why.Like give him the butterfly triplets and he is entrained for hours playing hide and seek with them.

He looks demonic all the time because the amount of blood he was injected with,so like slit eyes,hair probably blood red and a unholy cross of sun shading and blood shade tips in his hair.covered in head to toe in the sun mark that of course sprouted on his forehead because of course it did.

Yorii walks around in his twelve years old form unless he needs to help someone reach something and then he turns 6 ft and gives Michi a hear attack.

Yorii prefers the kid form,he can feel his brother is uncomfortable with his adult form.

The flute is constantly in Yorii's mouth and he has this adorable habit of calling for Michi by playing a short tune on it.

So far only Uzui and Michi figured out the flute language down.

Hashiras are just baffled and sometimes unnerved by the small demon just lounging in the sunlight but it's completely peaceful,surely it's just a child?

A victim yes?You only get his side eye if you have some evil intention to his brother or whoever Yorii adopted into his family.

Michi of course has a guilt complex over 9000 here.

Especially if he remembers,dear god.

He failed,dear gods,did he fail.

And now he is also feeling guilty for anytime he envied Yoriichi,he is kinda offended that even Muzan's blood doesn't matter to Yoriichi tho.He really is blessed.

But all the guilt and self hate works out here because he gets decent company to tell him just how stupid he is.And he gets to beat demons with a stick.

He doesn't have people comparing him to Yorii now either.

The wonder of having better people to talk too.

He probably learns fire breathing or water breathing but modifies into Moon breathing baffling everyone because that's a thing?

He hangs out with Muichiro,Rengoku,Uzui, probably Shinobu?

He is always praising Muichiro on his talents but despairs over his lack of tact and manners.

Muchirio finds him an encouraging nagging mother hen and his brother a weird little bird.

What friends he has depends on how much you change the canon?Are the upper moons the same?

It will hilarious because Michi is such a chaotic idiot but loves to pretend to be a straight and honorable man and that leaves the Hashiras completely bamboozled because the man can be peacefully meditating and then turn around and yell at Muichiro because manners you ill mannered brat!How did descendent turn out like this?!!

And what was that even supposed mean?

This weird crochety old man who's actually a twelve year old!

Yorii doesn't give a fuck,his brother is the best brother.

And then the angst and anger you could pull if the Hashiras find out who Michi actually was and the angst of meeting Muzan again.

But hopefully by now he would have a better support group and more perspective and a knowledge that he isn't the only person important or wronged in this world!

As I said this fic has a lot of potential,a little research to be done sure,but if you are passionate about it,go for it!

I would personally read it and most certainly love it!

pokemon trainer au go weeee 1/?

So I started a platinum nuzlocke and my brain, doing as brains do, smashed my two latest special interests together. Basically, i tried to match the heisters’ respective aesthetics and perk decks. Side note I havent thought about pokemon competitively since like Kalos so forgive the inaccuracies. Also adding a bit of ‘pkmn can learn more than 4 moves’ for inworld flavor n fun.

First off is the man behind the scenes, the vape god himself, Bain. There’s not a lot to go on - we know he’s a hacker, used to be a robber himself, and the whole Kataru obsession. Think its safe to assume that his team would be OP as fuck with a side focus on ancient/otherworldly civilization. It was tough choice between Neheeyem, Sigilyph and Claydol for that reason.

Then we got Dallas, whose mastermind and crew chief perks make him a jack of all trades with an emphasis on support. Thus, a type balanced team with coverage and support moves. The Medic specialty here is represented by Clefable (hello wish/substitute/toxic staller), the Controller via Breloom (status and priority moves everywhere) and Sharpshooter by Kingdra. Braviary’s the closest i can get to his mask while Metagross is for communicating to Bain and the others. Yay psychic type telepathy! Arcanine’s there for rule of cool and sibling to Houston’s Luxray.

Meanwhile, Chains’ team can be summed up in one word: TANK. Big, bulky, powerful, if not spectacularly fast. Shotgunner is hard to convey, but Ammo Specialist is here via megaHeracross skill link ability. It was tempting to give him megaTyranitar as well but that felt a little bit too OP. Enforcer also gets rolled in with the general tank build because I got no idea how to convey it in poketerms. There’s not much strategy aside from the occasional Drain Punch - just going hammer and tongs with no boosting or status moves.

On the other end of the of the spectrum is Hoxton who was really hard to pin down. Instead of narrowing down each specialty I just chose to spread it across several ‘mons. Honestly, Intelleon could’ve worked to represent Gunslinger but I just don’t like its design. This is also where aesthetic played a lot as he got half a teams’ worth of Galar exclusives. Runnerups where Alolan Persian, Galarian Stunfisk and Theivul. Much like his skill deck, there’s not much in the way of being a team player. More likely to use moves that damage his teammates too.

It was really tempting to give Wolf nothing but canines for a team ngl. Alas, he only gets Mightyena I know it’s name is based on hyena but shhh. Sentries and the Engineer skill are rolled into one with Octillery, Breacher’s here with Electrode and the Oppressor’s fully auto specialty is represented with Ambipom’s skill link. Rotom would’ve been in here too but Bain already had one and I’m trying to do no repeats, also Porygon-Z’s glitchiness works better with Wolf’s whole backstory. Expect a lot of boosting moves and Baton Passing them around. Also paralysis/flinch combos.

Finally rounding this all out is Houston, whose whole thing is stealth and trickery. You just know he spams evasion boosting moves before going into anything. More specifically; Artful Dodger is represented here by Crobat (hello fellow toxistaller), Shinobi via Kaputops, and Silent Killer via Malamar. Luxray here is sibling to Dallas’ Arcanine and fits in with his stealth theming with it’s (canonical!) xray vision. booboo keys Klefki’s for general lockpicking and plenty of status moves.

sploon (mainly deep cut) headcanons because its nearly midnight and whats better than sleep??? sploon hyperfixation. plus thisll act as a good dumping ground for headcanons that are canon to my oc au im developing, which includes my agents n stuff

all of them are neurodivergent in some way because, as a neurodivergent person, its VERY hard to try and write a character who isnt. so uh oops

LABELS: shiver is agender and use they/he/other pronouns. they also give me afab vibes (yeah yeah i know theyre wearing a sarashi and not bandages, im mainly going off their vibes and the fact that sarashi can double as a (much safer) binding practice when compared to bandages). they just think they/he pronouns are fun to say and hear, but literally any pronouns are fine for them. their lack of gender makes them above the concept of gender itself, iconic. ill mainly refer to them using they/them pronouns for simplicity. also theyre hella bi and tbh give me vibes that theyre somewhere on the asexual spectrum

frye is enby and uses she/they pronouns. shes very ace vibes and is biromantic

big man doesnt really mind nor actively choose labels for himself. hes just vibing as his he/him self and honestly? so true of him

agents 3 and 4 are both non-binary while agent 8 is polygender (i think thats the word? correct me if im wrong. basically multi-track drifting but in gender form and not exactly genderfluid since the gender is consistently yes). also im a supporter of agent 96 propaganda because 1 the ship name is funny and 2 fun dymanics

agent 3 gives me they/she asexual-demiromantic vibes. like its just true, trust me my dad is nintendo he told me

agent 4 is giving me they/them asexual of pure chaos and energy. also gives me demiromantic vibes but like in the opposite way to agent 3 if that makes sense. theyre both two sides of a spectrum

agent 8 never understood labels and stuff. thats not even coming from the octarian army or something, he just. never vibed with it. so instead shes yes to gender and loves their partners and thats all that matters to them

OTHER THINGS:

frye is the one who taught shiver inkling when shiver defected from the octarian army, aka they knew how to curse people out first and foremost, much to their frye's enjoyment and big man's dismay

frye streams gaming content and has one of those mics that go completely silent whenever she screams or yells too close to it. their alert for someone subscribing to their streaming channel is a voice clip of her breaking her microphone's audio input while playing a horror game

deep cut live in a nice apartment together and each have their own rooms (my oc rome has a room as well but shhh this isnt about him)

big man has a lot of plants in his room that he takes very good care of :3 all the handles to stuff is also larger so his fins can hold em better!! id think hed like soft things, so hes definitely got bean bag chairs and comfy blankets to snuggle up in

frye has a bunch of space to climb around in her room, like theyve got a thick fishing net attached to their ceiling and will crawl up and use it as a hammock. shes also got a bunk bed with a desk underneath!!!

shiver's room is nice and tidy, but still has a lot of decoration and personality to it. theyve got their aesthetic down and everything!! plus id imagine theyd like scented candles, so their room always has a soft scent to it. nothing overpowering ofc, just a subtle smell that makes the room feel nice. also, they own like a billion games and keep em all in a cabinet

shiver can whistle REALLY loudly due to losing one of their fangs (their top left fang since we already cant really see it if it's there). they use this power on their float during splatfest when the whistle part of their solo comes up

ill add more later but right now im tired sleepy so gn gay people im going to bed

I've always been here, y'all just go dormant until shit like this hits the fan /joke /lighthearted

But in genuine opinion, the new show sucks balls, I've not even seen it but through osmosis I know it's trash because NOBODY IN THE GANG IS LIKE THAT. Others have put it correctly in everyone in the gang pulls their weight.

Fred is cunning and crafty in a cinch, the man makes traps outta nothin! (They work, it's just Scooby & Shaggy's clumsiness that causes the traps to backfire in the way they were intended to work and take a detour into working out in the end) He knows his stuff and bounces off Velma in their investigation

Daphne is resourceful (in later iterations, sadly in the OG she's sadly just the. Girl character.) And there to help spot the smaller details that the others may miss. She's also yes, helpful for getting trapped too because it helps the gang's motivation crank up to a ten, they want their friend back!!

Velma isn't the sole brains, Daphne and Fred are equally as smart but she's also a sort of pseudo-sole glue to the gang! She has a smart mouth (sass) and is helpful in the technical end of things. She knows multiple languages! (Shown that she knows Chinese, we never get elaboration if it's Mandarin or Cantonese but shhh), She's smart and helpful and is one of the gang members who provides support to Shaggy and Scooby!! She carries the snacks (Daphne does too and I can't remember entirely off the top of my head who of the two carries the scooby snacks more than the other..) and empowers everyone. She's like the traditional "nerd" who can help the gang in a historic or book smart approach when needed.

Shaggy is more than a "stoner" type. It's shown he's the BEST everyman of the group. He can act, he can throw his voice, he canonically has done track & gymnastics, he's the groups jock! Fred's the pseudo-jock. Fred's actually a theatre kid. Shaggy has the stamina to outrun the monsters, and it shows! When he and Scooby come up with their disguises (albeit in some instances not as nice as Fred's ideas, as they throw their stuff together where Fred sometimes had straight up masks), he's the one who technically owns the Mystery Machine too!! It's stated Shaggy found the van, so it could be said Fred is their driver but Shaggy is the de-facto owner. He provides a calmer edge for everyone and keeps their spirits up with his lighthearted nature.

And Scooby is their beloved mascot! Scoob is apart of the two sided coin that Shaggy is. They work together to help catch the bad guys and get into hijinks. Scooby is their "bloodhound" that helps find clues when the other can't with his dog-based abilities. Scooby is their true glue to keeping everyone together, and it shows. Everyone is a vital piece of the gang. They don't insult each other like that.

This show is an insult to the legacy of the franchise. Yes the gang get in spats with each other, but this is a soulless and mean-spirited series that is a disgrace to carry the name of being apart of the Scooby Doo franchise.

Sean (according to my limited knowledge) is a very caring character, and he does what he can in order to help someone in need, or to help someone be happier. Billy (but also a bit o' Nathan) Flor's great and lovely. As well as that, from my experience, she’d be a bit of a charmer. Also also, one of the sweetest people, and she’s VERY passionate about what she does. Billy has CHARM i tell you, and the hilarity is tied to Nathan. She also makes a crude (but not offensive) joke every now and then.

As well as that, she’s an INCREDIBLE writer, and honestly I’m shocked to call you (or any of my other mutuals)my friends. I feel like you also may have lit a dumpster fire.

On a more serious note, I really want to thank my mutuals for always being here for me. My brain is half-cooked eggs most of the time, but y’all are always like “Hey, I’m here for you pal.” And I really appreciate that endlessly. I haven’t had the best luck with friendships in the past, and sometimes I’m unable to understand certain niceties. (I have never used that word in my life, what the fuck.) They’re helped me understand loving myself, and doing my own research. Learning things I might not initially know, or simply just being there. I’m really forever grateful for that though. This is truly one of the best groups of people I have ever met. I love each and everyone of my mutuals so, so much and I really would like to give all of them a very big hug. Also all of my mutuals are beautiful and hot and anyone caught saying otherwise will be b0nked, and I will be stealing your kneecaps.

Imagine that AU where Peter's accused of some very terrible crime(s), and while he has a rock solid alibi - he's on video and EVERYTHING! - he can't use it. Because it's Spiderman on video, with an alibi, and proof of where he was. Peter Parker just has a blank space of time with nothing to show for it, and nothing he can say. He's obviously hiding something, he's jittery, he's scared, and May trying to defend him when she doesn't even know what his alibi is (or who he really is in the mask)

So I have…basically an amalgamation of 3 scenes going in my head for this.

1.       The ‘Did you do it’ scene from Defending Jacob where Andy/Captain America straight up asks his kid if he murdered the boy people think he murdered.

2.       The ‘I can’t sleep!’ scene from The Amazing Spider-man (2012) which is a flawed but massively underrated film, fight me. Where Sally Field! May asks Peter where he goes at night, what’s happening to him, why he’s hurt, and, “Secrets have a cost, they’re not for free. Not now, not ever.”

3.       Marisa Tomei! May in Spider-man: Homecoming. The, “You have to tell me what’s going on!” scene.

All of these are Good Scenes btw, and short, and I recommend watching them if you haven’t but anyway. No Irondad here, because eww, no, never, but some references to actual Spider-man canon, whether Feige likes it or not.

Fuck Irondad, let Peter have his own movie, justice for May Parker.

May and Peter having to leave their apartment building. Neighbors they’ve known for years not talking to them, not looking them in the eye. Hell, maybe the ‘Murderer burn in hell’ bit from Defending Jacob shows up in there too, where there’s graffiti on their apartment door, you need a key to get into the building, but of course no one saw anything. Them having to stay with Ned’s family.

Peter’s getting all kinds of shit suddenly for being the weird kid who snuck off all the time, and the only ones who don’t treat him like a leper are Ned and MJ. And MJ digs murderers anyway, so while he’s glad of the support, it doesn’t exactly help his rep.

May who will defend him to anyone and everyone. No, no it isn’t weird that his computer stuff was completely wiped when the cops showed with their warrants. He’s a teenage boy, embarrassed of his search history, that’s all.  May doesn’t know that he and Ned had to scorched earth everything because of the weird shit one Googles as a superhero, but she knows he wasn’t looking up murder techniques, okay?

No, it’s not weird that he had cuts and bruises and things when they dragged him in. Boys and their roughhousing, no he doesn’t play any sports, but who hasn’t woken up with bruises they can’t explain?

Her nephew is a good boy. Her son is a good boy, damn you. Sure there were some fights last year, but her husband had just been murdered and those kids had been bullying Peter for years but no, no he doesn’t have anger issues, he’s not a murderer!

May and Peter alone at Ned’s place some night. Ned and his fam have gone to get food, give some space and get it. Peter and May…they don’t really walk around the old stomping grounds anymore. Them alone in the house after weeks of this and May just, “Are you on drugs?”

Calm as hell question that startles Peter away from the book he wasn’t reading. “What? I—what?”

“Are you on drugs?”

“No?” More a question than he means it to be but, the hell?

“Are you selling them? Were you selling them?”

“What? What are you—”

“I know you’ve been worried about money since Ben died. Even though I told you not to. But I get it. So if you were—”

“May! May, I’m not…no. No drugs. No using or selling or anything. I don’t even watch Breaking Bad.”

Slight relaxation of May’s shoulders, twitch of a smile that doesn’t go to her eyes. “Okay. Okay. Where were you?”

“May, I, I told you I can’t—”

“No. No more “you can’t,” Peter. Because this? Not going away. I thought these assholes would come to their senses, find the real person—”

“May—”

“But they’re not. They’re not, and they’re not going to. All they see is you, Peter, so you…”

And holy shit, May’s crying. Or so close to it that there’s no difference. Jesus, May is crying, and she’s already cried so much since Ben, but always when she thought Peter wasn’t aware. Now they’re here, in front of each other, and she’s just, just crying.

“All they see is you,” May says, clearing her throat. “And that’s all they’re going to see until we give them a reason to look somewhere else, so you have to tell me. You have to tell me, not them. Me.”

“May…”

“Peter, it’s just us, just me and you, okay? So you tell me, and we’ll figure it out. But you…you have to tell me. You have to tell me, because it’s just us. We’re all we have right now, baby. You’re…you’re all I have. And I can’t lose you, understand? Not you too.”

“Aunt May,” he rarely calls her that anymore, rarely adds the title, not since he turned double-digits. But Aunt May looks so small now, and she’s making him feel small. Smaller than he’s felt since Uncle Ben died. Because of him. And now Aunt May’s suffering again. Because of him. “Aunt May, you won’t lose me, okay? I prom—”

“Peter!”

She’s still in tears, but she says it sharply enough that he very nearly jumps to the ceiling. Literally.

“Peter,” she says, much softer, but still laced with steel. “Peter, I know you snuck out of our house every night. I know that half the time you said you were with Ned, you weren’t. I know you weren’t doing your robotics stuff because you quit that three months ago. I know you don’t stay late studying at the library. Who the hell goes to libraries to study anymore, Peter?”

Peter’s got no answer to that, hangs his head.

“Everyone thinks I’m this clueless, gullible, uninvolved parent, too stupid to know what her kid is doing.”

“That’s not true, Aunt May.”

“I know it’s not. Or I thought I knew.”

That one hurts, twists Peter’s guts even as May reaches for him, takes his face in her hands.

“I knew what you were doing. Knew enough, I thought. Ben gone, losing the house, me barely keeping us above water.”

“Aunt May, you—”

“I thought you had things to figure out. I thought—fuck, I don’t know what I thought. But I knew I couldn’t blame you for not wanting to be around here, around me.”

That’s too far. That’s too much, and Peter pulls her into a hug because he has to. “You’re so wrong. That’s—no, Aunt May. I love you so much. I love you so, so much.”

“I love you too.”

“I’ve never wanted to be away from you. I never will.”

May pulls back then, cups his face in both of hers. “Then you have to tell me, Peter. You have to tell me, baby, because they want to take you away. And I am never, never going to let that happen, but you have to help me, baby. I can’t…” What’s left of her composure crumples. “I can’t do this on my own. Any of it. Don’t you dare make me.”

Peter tries to say something, he doesn’t know what, but all that comes out is a sob.

“Secrets have a cost, Peter, always. And whatever this one is, whatever you’re hiding? It’s going to cost us everything. Were you doing something else illegal, something different? Are you covering for someone? Is someone threatening you, hurting you?” She looks sick at the thought, but her voice is steel and her grip on Peter goes painful tight, even for him. “Because if they are, Peter, I swear to God. I swear to God, baby, I’ll make them stop. I’ll make them stop; I’ll kill them. You just have to—”

He can’t hear anymore of this. He can’t. Because he is doing something illegal, he is covering for someone, and someone is hurting him, but none of it in the way she thinks. “You haven’t asked me the big question.”

“What?”

“You keep asking me questions, but not…you haven’t asked if I did it.”

May looks stricken at that. A strange combination of stricken and baffled. “No.”

“Because you don’t…” He can barely say it. “Because you don’t want to know?”

Somehow the horror on her face intensifies and Peter wants to die, wishes for the thousandth time it was him, not Uncle Ben, but he doesn’t have to see that look on her face for long, doesn’t get to. May pulls him down, holds his face against her shoulder, grips onto him with the painful, desperate, grounding hold.

“Because I know, Peter. I know my boy. I know who you are, Peter. I know who you are. Oh baby, shhh.”

He can’t though. He can’t be quiet anymore, and he has to, and it’s killing him, and all he can do is sob into her and sink into her until they’re both sat in the middle of the Leeds’s living room floor, shaking and crying in the dark, behind closed curtains.

This playlist is a mix of the songs from the late 90s and stuff I’ve found more recently. A lot of ‘Matt and Kim’ which totally fits their vibe. Duluna is my OC that is Duke’s little sister and quite the opposite in personality from Nosedive.

Oh god Okay in high school we wrote these AU stories with what if certain canon Mighty Ducks character were a villain. Nosedive’s AU was what if he was left on Puckworld when Canard told Wildwing he couldn’t bring his brother. Anyways long story short he becomes a traitor kinda like Lurcretia. My main OC Duluna in this AU is also pretending to be traitorous so hey her and Nosedive meet because of both work for Dragaunus and they hit it off. But once they both get portaled to earth for Dragaunus work, Duluna shows she was just pretending to be a traitor to get a free ride. She assumes Nosedive was doing the same but nope turned out he really hates his brother and felt abandoned by him. ANYWAYS best shippy song from that list lolol:

Tanya x Wildwing

I wish I could remember what songs I had for them back when I wrote stuff in high school. Lolol. I listen to PLUSH station on Pandora and have ran into songs I remember from old fics like HEY WAIT A MINUTE. They were ones I first used this song for. I use this song for a lot of ships since then. I just feel like in every cartoon show I like there is one ship in each one I make kinda vanilla and perfectish and they happened to get it for MD. lol.

“Evil” Tanya AU x Wildwing 

Lololol anyways AU where Tanya was a baddie. In regular universe I had an OC that was her cousin that was super supportive of Tanya being a nerdy in tech because he was too. In this AU tho he wasn’t around. Tanya still got into techy nerdy stuff but had some low self esteem. Events went about the same until the whole coming to earth thing. When she builds the Drake 1 computer, instead of building it from scratch he does it by backwards engineering Saurian tech. She also makes an A.I. that ends up influencing her a lot, until she is able to take out Dragaunus but then she builds master tower and becomes the main baddy the other ducks have to fight. ANYWAYS. She still has a thing for Wildwing and there’s drama. Did I mention this was all a came up with when I was  in High school???

I have a shipping playlist for her that covers some different relationships she’s been in. She is actually a swedish blue duck that was killed in the 1800s. She was an inventor and now possesses a body that is one of her robotic creations. Because of how she was wronged in her death she first started out as wraith that was just pure anger. She was also a summon that woman. I do ship her with Odin in the far future tho. Wheee.

So I ship these two for my headcanons for 87/comic blend universe. Poe and Fethry in that universe don’t start being an item until Magica and Gladstone have been together for awhile. I don’t really have a playlist for that ship because there isn’t really any drama to it to have a playlist lololol. For 2017 I have Poe being an active villain so of course more dramaaa. This playlist has a lot of Raven based songs but the main one I picked to show is just a nice angst with a twist ha.
